This place has all the pvc fittings you will need to build a pvc pipe frame cage. It doesn’t have cage designs; it just has the pvc material. A fellow ig keeper who has used these materials recommended this site.

This is a cat tree, yes, but your iggy will love using it too!

This is the home of the pvc pipe frame cage. You buy the pattern for the cage. It’s advertised for $37.95 but it’s almost always on sale and the author, Keith van Zile also includes patterns for other things, so it’s a pretty good value. I had someone make the mid sized cage and while it is a good design, I got the impression it’s not as easy to make as Keith says! You definitely need to thoroughly read the step-by-step instructions several times before attempting to put it together. It is a cool looking cage. The materials will run about $250 more or less. Menards is a good place to go for the parts. Or check out the pvc site above.

These are very expensive but look ultra cool. There are expandable, so you can start out with a basic, then add on later. I had one and it was hard to put together; definitely a two-person job. If you plan ahead, they will pre-drill the holes for you.

This company is located in Wisconsin. The designs are very primitive, but if you are not a handy type person, or don’t have anyone to make one for you, these cages might be less expensive to have built and ship. He also has supplies if you are so inclined to build yourself.

Sometimes you can find used cages on Craig’s List.  The homemade ones might not be of the best quality materials or might even be a bad design.
